Wellness in Nova Scotia
Salt-water calm, stretched mental-health access, and a thoughtful studio scene.
Nova Scotia has been investing in universal mental-health and addiction care — including free same-day walk-in counselling through Community Mental Health. Between Halifax’s wellness studios and the quiet coastlines beyond, this is a province that rewards slowing down.
Mental health support
Nova Scotia’s Mental Health and Addictions Crisis Line (1-888-429-8167) is 24/7. Community Mental Health walk-in counselling is available across the province without a referral; ask for your nearest location.
Outdoor wellness
Point Pleasant Park, Cape Split and the entire Cabot Trail are on most locals’ reset lists. For swimming, Lawrencetown and Crystal Crescent beaches are blunt-cold reset therapy in the summer.
